SONNET NUMBER  5

How did a creature of such divine grace
find her way onto this sorry planet?
Why is she here among us when she could
have stayed in the company of angels?

You will look upon no finer features
in the faces of Botticelli's nymphs,
and in her  countenance you will see what
cannot be matched by the work of mortal hands.

Do you wish to know how tenderly lips
can smile, how gracefully limbs can flow
in motions that will ravish you with love?

Beware! She is the kind that either kills
or heals the hearts of those who fall to
her soft looks, her gentle sway, her sweet sighs.
